June

Dear Diary,
It's not even officially summer yet, but we've been having tons of fun already. Mommy and Jada and I are getting into a good routine around here. Some days are better than others, but this was a good day! Mommy and I made delicious oatmeal cookies. I dumped in all the ingredients and helped stir. I also got a kick out of licking the spoon.

Some days we just watch my new sister. She has already rolled over from her tummy to her back, and she has started smiling at me. I hug all over her and have a weird habit of running up to her and shrieking in her face. She's not crazy about that... neither is Mommy.

I've taken several trips lately. I got to introduce Jada to Grandma & Grandpa Cain's house and the joys of Logansport. I rode a BIG carousel. Gotta be honest, I was a little intimidated. I decided to stay off the horses and just snuggle up to Grandpa on a bench. I actually had a great time, although in this picture you can tell I had missed my naptime.

I also got to ride in a train around the park, which was pretty awesome. I went once with Grandma and once with my parents and Jada. She was not impressed (or even awake for that matter... maybe next time.)

Jada did NOT miss her nap time. She slept through most of the excitement. Poor Grandma was forced to hold her instead of paying attention to me.

Also, Mommy talked Daddy into taking us to the zoo. My favorite part was the dolphin show. I have been talking about it ever since. Mommy liked the zebras because they were posing nicely for her camera.

We also took Jada to meet her Great-Grandma Fark in Ohio. It was a nice, WARM day, and I got to play outside.

When we got home from Grandma's, we got to play in the sprinkler. This is the first time I've gotten to play in the water since last summer, so I was pretty happy. I cracked myself up by sticking my face in the water and drinking it.

Then I realized I could just slurp a drink off of Jada's ring toy.

Can't wait to get more time in the sprinkler. Hopefully, Mommy will get out my little pool soon! Well, that's about it for now. So far June has been pretty good.
Love, Aubree

Happy Father's Day!

So blessed to have such a great Daddy, dad-in-law and hubby! Happy father's day and much love to our guys.
Thanks for doing all that you do and being all that you are!
We love you!

Everyone needs a little sunshine...

It's not her best performance, but it's one we got on video!
Hopefully it'll brighten your gloomy and rainy day!

Day to Day

Just want you to see how much they are growing, and how much Aubree loves her baby sister.

Visiting Grandma Margie's House

My first road trip to Logansport. Today I met my cousin Shaylen... and her big brother, Caleb. I think they like me. (Actually I'm pretty sure of it!)
I also got to meet my Great-Aunt Ellen. She gave me lots of hugs.

I was super happy to meet my Great-Grandma Margie.
She was comfy, and I slept a long time while she held me.

This is a picture of the four generations of women in my family. I tried to wake up for this pictures, but Great-Grandma was keeping me cozy.
Grandma, we were sooooo happy to visit with you in your home, and praise God that you are doing so well! We love you!

Adorable!

Here's Aubree out playing on her swingset the other day.  She looked super cute in this dress!

Here Aubree is showing Jada all of the cool things she can do on the activity mat!  Aubree was really excited to see it again and asked about her favorite parts...the blue circle with a dog and cat and a yellow circle with a duck and frog.  I forget exactly how she asked for them, but it was pretty funny that she could remember them!  Hopefully Jada will enjoy it as much as Aubree did!

Jada snoozing on Daddy's chest!  Adorable!

Sometimes Aubree needs double comfort and opts for two paci's at once!  She was mostly just showing off for the camera here as you can see by her "smile" face (eyes closed tightly)!

The same, but different

Some of Jada and Aubree's newborn pictures. It's kind of fun to see them side by side. I think if you cover up Jada's curls, they're kind of close.
