Cuteness continued...

Finally chilly enough for my cute little jacket.

I love this seat! I want to sit up like a big girl all the time!

My first piano lesson. This thing is amazing.

I helped Mommy feed me some sweet potatoes. I was having a pretty good time making a big mess.

Happy Birthday to Me!

Lovin' the socks.

I'm five months old today, and I've never looked cuter!

Whatchoo talkin' bout, mama?

Day by Day

Here are just some pictures I wanted to share. I know some of you are eager to get your eyes on our lil' kiddo. This is sort of the average day around here.

Giggling in the Bumbo seat.

Giving Daddy "noseys."

Gearing down for bedtime.

Getting sooooo BIG!

Miss Dana :-)

Dana Rocks (and Richard is okay, too)! We are so thankful to have such trusted friends helping us bring up our little girl. It's such a relief to leave her with someone who really cares for her. Today Aubree went to the zoo with Dana and the boys. In honor of Aubree's favorite stuffed friend, Eliza, Dana grabbed a picture of them beside the elephants. You guys are amazing! Thanks a bunch!

Fun Times

Grandma and Grandpa Cain came for a visit the weekend before last and stopped in for a quick hello last weekend. It's always nice when they come because Aubree gets tons of attention, Mommy gets a break (since g-ma is a baby hog), Daddy gets uninterrupted football viewing & Grandpa gets a nap. Grandma and Grandpa brought the cutest new little outfits. Can't wait until Aubree is big enough for them. She is sooo close. Right now she can wear 3-6 months and some 6-9 months, but she's got a little way to grow before she can fill out the 9 monthers.

let's hear it for flexibility

Yes, she was actually sucking her toe. Pretty funny stuff.

Sorry about the lack of blog entries lately. Now that I'm back to work, we're spending a lot more time in "survival mode." It's been a little nuts. Sometimes it feels like we're running a race... I'm not quite sure if we're winning or losing. :-)

Happy 5 month Birthday!

I know, 5 months isn't that big of a milestone, but it's still fun to celebrate!
We've been a bit behind with posting pictures, but we have a couple that we'll try to put up soon. In the mean time, Happy Birthday, Aubree!

Mmmmmm...squash

So, after having experienced rice cereal this past week, we're starting to throw in some orange veggies. Today, Squash was on the menu! It was a little bit messier than the rice cereal, but that could just be because it was thicker and orange. Can't wait to see how things look later on (if you know what I mean).

Labor Day

We went to visit Grandma and Grandpa Fark this Labor Day. This is Aubree on Great-grandma's lap.

Aubree also got to see her Grandma and Grandpa Maurer and her Aunt Robyn and Uncle Dan and their sweet little girls.

Aubree loved sitting up in her cousin Vivian's bumbo seat. If anyone has a spare, let us know!! She looked so cute. We may have to break down and get one of these.

Cousin Julia was a little unsure of Aubree at first, but she eventually warmed up to her. As you can see, they were both pretty interested in each other. I can't wait until they are all old enough to run around and play.

The blue-eyed babe below is Aubree's younger cousin, Vivian. She's about 3 weeks younger than Aubree and super cute! Apparently she's the "good one" because she seems to be a little less prone to crying fits... or maybe hers are just quieter. There's no middle ground with our kiddo. She's either all giggles and smiles, or she's seriously telling you what's wrong. I think she gets her temperamental nature from her Daddy.

Well, it's off to bed for me since tomorrow is back to work! :-)
Love,
B
