It's not even officially summer yet, but we've been having tons of fun already. Mommy and Jada and I are getting into a good routine around here. Some days are better than others, but this was a good day! Mommy and I made delicious oatmeal cookies. I dumped in all the ingredients and helped stir. I also got a kick out of licking the spoon.
Some days we just watch my new sister. She has already rolled over from her tummy to her back, and she has started smiling at me. I hug all over her and have a weird habit of running up to her and shrieking in her face. She's not crazy about that... neither is Mommy.
I've taken several trips lately. I got to introduce Jada to Grandma & Grandpa Cain's house and the joys of Logansport. I rode a BIG carousel. Gotta be honest, I was a little intimidated. I decided to stay off the horses and just snuggle up to Grandpa on a bench. I actually had a great time, although in this picture you can tell I had missed my naptime.
I also got to ride in a train around the park, which was pretty awesome. I went once with Grandma and once with my parents and Jada. She was not impressed (or even awake for that matter... maybe next time.)
Jada did NOT miss her nap time. She slept through most of the excitement. Poor Grandma was forced to hold her instead of paying attention to me.
Also, Mommy talked Daddy into taking us to the zoo. My favorite part was the dolphin show. I have been talking about it ever since. Mommy liked the zebras because they were posing nicely for her camera.
We also took Jada to meet her Great-Grandma Fark in Ohio. It was a nice, WARM day, and I got to play outside.
