Aubree's dedication (and 100th post!)

Every year, our church does a big baby dedication ceremony. They used to just do it during the regular service, but as the church grew, it became unmanageable to do it that way! I think there were right around 25 kids being dedicated last night...it's a super cool event and says great things about the church, staff and families involved!
So, for the 100th post I thought it was appropriate to show how we are dedicated to raising up Aubree as a child of God!

Let them eat cake!

So, here we are with cake number 2! Hopefully Aubree doesn't think this is a Sunday tradition since she had cake last week for an early birthday party! She wasn't really that timid about it either. She really loves squishing around in the icing! I had to break a couple chunks of cake loose for her, but otherwise whe dug right in!

Presents!

Here's mommy opening presents for me. I already found one I liked and bailed on her!

Ok, I'm back!

But not for long! Playing with my cousin Vivian with friend Zoe-Grace running around in the background!

I'm a big girl!

I can drink out of my sippy cup (though still dribble sometime, so have to wear a bib)!

I can put my toys in daddy's shoes (and take them out, and put them in, and take them out...).

I can sit down, scoot back and lean against the wall! The picture doesn't quite capture the moment. You really had to be there to see it!

Easter pics

Here are some pictures from Easter last weekend. She got an Easter basket from her grandma and grandpa Cain and she loved all that was inside!

Misha was pretty interested in the contents as well! She liked the ball just as much as Aubree and was quite curious about the singing and dancing bunny!

Hey, check out my sweet new shades!

Cake is good

This past weekend, we celebrated Easter and an early birthday for Aubree up at her great grandma's. Here are a few pictures of the cake action. We weren't sure how it'd turn out, but weren't disappointed! She played around in the icing for a while before picking up the entire piece of cake (it was a tiny heart-shaped cake, but I'd argue that it was more than one serving!) Needless to say, she got a bath afterwards!
